Delete your Ink Therapy HQ account

This page explains how to delete your Ink Therapy HQ account, and exactly what happens to your data when you do. Ink Therapy HQ is published by Ink Therapy HQ LLC.

Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately. If you are a client:

1. Open Ink Therapy HQ and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.
5. Tap Delete my account permanently.

If you are an artist, the same option lives under Profile › Settings › Delete account.

Your account and data are removed as soon as you confirm. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

If you can’t sign in

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, email inktherapyhq@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and sign-in credentials, including your email address and password.
• Your profile — name, username, date of birth, profile photo, location, bio, and username history.
• Your bookings and consult requests, including any health information you provided on a booking form, such as allergies, skin conditions, medications, and pregnancy or nursing status.
• Your tattoo requests and every reference image attached to them.
• Artist content you published — portfolio posts, listing and flash images, giveaways, availability, and pricing.
• Your activity — favorites, giveaway entries, reward points, notifications, notification preferences, and your record of accepting our terms.
• Blocks and reports you created, along with any blocks other people placed on you.

What we keep, and why

Three things survive deletion:

• Studio logos. A studio logo belongs to the studio rather than to any one artist, so it stays with the studio when you leave. Your personal portfolio images are deleted.
• Moderation records about reported content. If another user reported something you posted, that report is kept, but the link to your account is severed — it no longer identifies you. We keep these so that a rename or a fresh account cannot erase a safety record.
• Analytics and crash-reporting records. The services we use to count feature usage and capture app crashes hold records that identify you only by a random account identifier — never your name, email, or any health information you provided. Deleting your account does not automatically remove these. Email us and we will purge them.

Purchase records held by Apple or Google for a subscription you bought are controlled by the app store, not by us. Deleting your Ink Therapy HQ account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can remove individual items at any time without closing your account — delete a tattoo request, a portfolio post, or a listing from inside the app, and it is gone. To edit or clear the health details on a booking, contact us at inktherapyhq@gmail.com.
